Our mission is to connect our community to resources, education, and free counseling scholarships to improve mental wellness, eliminate stigma and lower the rate of suicide in the Gunnison Valley.
CBSOM
has a beautiful history of being driven by passionate therapists in the valley
who are connected to the community and aware of the needs and service
gaps. Together, we've worked to distributed over 3,000 individual counseling sessions through our Therapy Scholarship Program to uninsured or underinsured Gunnison Valley residents. The available support options have grown from
9 to an impressive 30 therapists, and additional telehealth contracts.
